  7. ¹The  radio  played  an  old tune from
  8. Phil  Collins when Peter woke up.  He
  9. was  well  aware of the one fact that
  10. he'd  be going to school and that the
  11. radio would wake him in time.  He had
  12. put  a  lot of energy into that radio
  13. which  his brother had given to him a
  14. few   years   ago.   It  was  an  old
  15. transistor  radio  which he had build
  16. in  an  alarm  funktion  which he was
  17. really proud of.  He turned around in
  18. the  warm and comfortable bed.  Peter
  19. slowly threw an eye at the display on
  20. the  radio.   It  showed  07:48, ahh!
  21. Thought Peter he could sleep about 12
  22. minutes  before  the  school  starts.
  23. Hmmm..   Starts!  "Gee!  I'm late " .
  24. He said and with extreme hurry he got
  25. up and dressed.
  26. With  the  sweater  outside in he ran
  27. out  in  the kitchen taking some milk
  28. and  making  a sandwhich.  Then while
  29. eating  the  sandwhich  he ran out on
  30. the yard.  Taking his bike and riding
  31. down along the countryroad.

  33. He  started to feel awake as the cold
  34. morning  wind  blew  at  his face and
  35. through  his  hair  .  The forest had
  36. started   to   live   and  the  first
  37. glimmers  of  sunshine had many hours
  38. ago  fought  a  huge  battle with the
  39. darkness  and  night as the opponent.
  40. He  passed  a stream where he used to
  41. play  as  a  child.   He had lived in
  42. ¶these  wood  his  entire life and had
  43. quite  a  stroll  to  get to school .
  44. The  stream  was  refreshed with cold
  45. ice water up from the great mountains
  46. and   all   the  pureness  which  the
  47. lanscape  posessed.  Now he could see
  48. the  bus  stop  by  the  road not far
  49. away.    Where  is  the  bus?   Peter
  50. thought  while passing the stop.  The
  51. bus  always  stops there for about 50
  52. minutes  every  morning.   Was  there
  53. anything special about this morning?.
  54. He  put  his  bike by the parking and
  55. walked  up  towards the main building
  56. of the school.  He looked through the
  57. window  but  there were nobody there.
  58. He  opened  the door and went inside.
  59. It  was  a  lot  warmer inside and he
  60. started  to sweat.  He walked through
  61. the  hallway down towards the locker.
  62. When  passing  a  spot  where the sun
  63. shined  in through the dusty window a
  64. wall  of intensive heat struck him in
  65. the  face.   He had to close his eyes
  66. for  a  second.   He  walked  to  his
  67. locker  and opened it, taking out the
  68. books.    Then   he   looked  at  the
  69. calender  on the inside of the locker
  70. door.  " Hmmm....  let's see here....
  71. the     16th     hmm....      hmmm...
  72. Saturday....   Saturday!  ..No!  this
  73. can't  be  true  !  " He shouted when
  74. looking   in   the   class-rooms  and
  75. discovering   that  they  are  empty.
  76. "But how could this have happened?  I
  77. putted  of  the alarm on the radio.."
  78. He  sadly  said  when walking towards
  79. his   bike.    When  riding  home  he
  80. thought about buying a new radio.
